Oh, I'm glad you can do something about such painful cramps...when I first started that lovely time of life, I got horrible cramps that made me literally double up in agony from the pain. Thank God that doesn't happen so badly anymore, but I definitely sympathize with that kind of pain...*hugs*

It's very odd, you'd think that something so natural would not cause us women such horribly intense pain... and yet it does.

When I first began, it was not painful; only slight discomfort. But as the years have gone on, the pain has escalated to where I can be doubled over and immobilised on any given day for several days. And I am constantly nauseous.

I am very opposed to birth control for reasons you mentioned, plus some others (I worked for an endocrinologist for two years and learned some frightening things about birth control used for varied reasons) but if there truly are no alternatives - and I would press your physician, as often there are alternatives that they may not mention because "the pill" is the easiest way out - then I do hope that it helps. I only know my own pain, and to experience something worse than that... God be with you in your suffering, seriously. lol.

As women, it is our cross to bear.

Fainting isn't in style! Seriously though, I know how scary it is to be faint, but not be able to express yourself but know you're in trouble. Thank God that there were people there to help you. I hope the whole thing gets sorted out quickly.

Wait...I thought I commented on this. I'm such a bum.

Anyway...I'm glad you're okay!

If you can't find a sparkly pink case I'm going to make you one out of knit fried eggs. :)
