Well, I've finally broken down and got a pet....

I don't suppose Ginger would be too cliche of a name? There was a cat at the fort named that...she was a sweet one. Ah, well...it'll be nice to have some company.

Mm, I don't think a name that reminds you of something from home isn't bad at all. I named my hedgehog after my best friend after all I think she'll forgive me for that

Thank you. She's been trying to chew on my shoelaces, though...I think I'm going to have to get her a catnip mouse or something to play with.

A hedgehog? My. Though I suppose if it was for comfort, it is more of a compliment than anything else. Makes me almost want to name her James...

Cats usually do make nice companions. I'm glad you could find one you like. They're...particular of their owners sometimes.
