I've abandoned you, LJ, and I'm sorry for that. I wish I had time to write down what I was doing or anything I was going through. There are ads everywhere now.
I'm glad LJers are returning. I do keep track of Facebook now, but there isn't room for the long-winded real life updates there. I miss LJ.
School is still in the works. As of the end of 2009, I was vet teching in Clarion, PA - a 2.5 hour drive each way daily, since the March 13th 2008 raid on a cat "sanctuary" that ended up being one of the largest cruelty cases in PA history. I took a couple months of responsibility off after that when the shelter closed and am now vet teching at a no kill shelter.
School needs to occur but life and a seeming immediate need for me both on the cruelty case and at the shelter has me up to my ears in responsibility. I'm trying to ignore my age and do still plan on vet school. :)
Maybe. :) I hate all the ads on LJ now and it's so dumb for me to have to create a bunch of filters just in case anyone from real life in general or work locates me. :(
There's AdBlock on Firefox, which helps block all the ads. Whoever designed that stupid full-screen flash ad thing the first time you go to LJ should be cursed with early 90's AOL dialup for life.
Filteres aren't that bad; you can always set up a default filter and change posts if they need it.
Myspace died. I am on Facebook, (IrishLinC, of course!) but there's no real space there to make in-depth entries. I could write notes, but eh. Too big an audience on Facebook.
Early 90s AOL noise... oh, how I remember that!
I have some filters half-assed set up on LJ. Basically I need to go through and unfriend everyone I don't know who the hell they are, and go from there.

Good to see you again my ole friend. Funny I have had 3 or 4 long lost LJ'ers pop up these last few weeks with our friend da_vinnie being one of them.
Are you still doing the Vet school or have you finished that?

Or there's Facebook/Myspace.
