He knew that it was a dangerous and stupid thing to do. If he was discovered, it would hurt Bella inconceivably, Jacob would be beyond furious, and it would only make his own still heart ache with longing. There was also the off chance that he would have a murderous pack of werewolves after him for breaking the treaty, but he wasn’t quite as ( Read more... )

I like this very much although, the BD feel I'm getting is making me a little cautious. I really don't like the "baby= destined love type" thing but this is very well-written with alot of emotion so I'm in.

I'm a little confused about your ending because how can Bella, who is human, smell the sweet scent of Edward? It seems like it should be Jacob who comes in the check on Ellie.

Anyway this is very good. :D

Thank you! And um, don't worry...it's NOT going in the same direction as BD, by any means whatsoever. At all. Never. No. *shudders*

As for the smelling Edward thing...maybe it's just me, but I'm big on smells. EVERYONE has a smell. I'd imagine even Edward would have a distinct smell, especially to Bella, who spent so much time with him. I don't mean the vampire smell that the werewolves pick up, just the smell she always associated with Edward. Does that make sense?

Thank you :D

I understand. People do have a certain scent but since that was such a big deal in New Moon and especially in Eclipse and Bella always said how everyone smelled fine to her, I never thought of her as being preceptive of scents. However, she did mention that she could smell the scent of blood so who I am to say what and I think she also talks of how Jacob smells like earth or wood or something. I don't know.

Anyway great start :D
