I am not typically a fan of femslash, but my goodness, the imagery here is simply wonderful; it’s vivid and alive and makes you really consider each and every word, completely pulling you into the story.

years of being left behind digging crescent moons against freckled flesh

This line is so vivid and well written and tells you so much in so few words. I love Claire hasn’t let go; the pain is still there and she wants Kate to feel it. And this following line juxtaposes the above one so well:

An apology was written with cool fingers skimmed across the swell of Kate's hip.

Such a complex relationship they have, going beyond simply Aaron. Very interesting. Well done. :D
