(walking quietly onto the floor, his palm sweaty underneath hers as they slowly start to dance.)
Its paralyzing - the old familiar song burning her from the inside out, lacing dangerously with memories that were supposed to remain locked inside her.
(shy glances that quickly turn bolder as his hand brushes up and down her back. she lifts her mouth to meet his....)
Its shattering - and her grip loosens, glass and liquor exploding everywhere.
The song fades and the intercom crackles to life.
