Sometimes, like this, he's an open book. Lays himself so open to her that she almost feels guilty for being able to get inside his mind, to read his emotions in the lines of his face.
But not tonight.
She grins mischievously before looking down so that she isn't caught, clears away the laugh bubbling in her throat, and lays down her cards.
