choice 1: i'm currenly declared as a business economics major. i also plan to minor in accounting.
the whole downside to this is that i have to take all these econ. crap classes. i'm not too keen on that. but...I WANT MY CPA DAMMIT!!!!

Well, I say stick with the accounting one. Based on stories I heard of my brother's friends, even if you take the courses that are required, doesn't mean you'll get into the school. i.e. Girl from Cal majored in English. Finished everything you need for Pre-Med and MCAT. Didn't get into a very school. Guy from LA majored in psychology and finished in 3 years. Took the MCATs and is now opening his own tutoring place to tutor certified doctors (they have to take tests every year to make sure they're still up to bar.). Can't find a good college that wants him.

Stick with what you are certain will get what you want.

Interesting. Didn't know you wanted to be a CPA. But okay. =]
