ok heres my new idea, im going to learn how to play a guitar that i found in my brothers closet and i shall teach myself. its something i have always wanted to do. piano i will continue and same with flute, i still wish i was better at drums but right now my new passion is guitar, well it will be when i can play, guaranteed

Ok yeah guitar is awesome. As for using a pick, try both to figure out what you're comfortable with. Personally, I like using a pick. Picks are just plain easier to use. Have fun! Happy Thanksgiving!!!

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!!! Hope you have a gooood one!! =) As for pick vs. fingers. I use pick for doing chords over and over again, that is easier, but when I just do individual strings, like complex stuff, I find that fingers are easier, but when you're good (not me), if you can pick it, awesome.
