Yes, but my happiness with the Senate was just smooshed.

Certain provisions of the Patriot Act have just been extended for another 6 months.
including the ability for secret search warrants of a suspect's reccords (with a court order) and the ability to tap each and every one of a suspect's phone lines.
why don't we just tap EVERY body's phone and have a governmental record of EVERYone's phone, medical, library, business and bowel movement reccords?

bah. at least they weren't approved permanently... damn.
