go for it!
my senior year i dropped all my science classes and took art/english. pretty sure everyone thought i was nuts. now i'm in school for art and its pretty much amazing [except the insane amount of homework]

so i say do it because if it makes you happy then thats all that counts

thats what matty and i talked about.
i've tried for years to do something that i didn't love. and its made me miserable, and i've failed to do it again and again.
perhaps its time to embrace fate instead of fight it.

(hugs)

I've never seen you in a lead role, but I can say with some degree of authority that you'll regret not taking a chance on something like this every day of your life if you don't try.

well, you haven't seen me in a lead role, but you have seen me on stage and you have seen me audition. you'd know as well as anyone, having been in theatre yourself.

i agree, though... i talked about this with my stepdad and stepsister. if i don't try, i'll wonder 'what if' for the rest of my life.

I believe you just answered your own question hun...

"i've been told a million times that i'm a great actress, and i know that it is the one thing that i TRULY love to do."

The greats in this world didn't get where they are today by not taking any risks. Let me tell you something very interesting- I saw Inside the Actors Studio with Robin Williams last night, and I almost balled my eyes out. He is so intelligent and worldly, not to mention he can speak like..three languages. The point being...he said "I never got anywhere in my life by sitting back and praying. I had to take some of the biggest risks in my life. When I was at Juliard, I realized that some days you'll be off, and then others- you just HIT IT. When I first took them, I questioned myself and my sanity. But I would never be where I am today without that...". You see Cas, even someone like Robin Williams gets scared shitless fom time to time. If it's what you really want to do...jump at it. Who gives a crap what anyone else thinks?
