I've been looking for a logical and supportable answer to the question we've all been asking for 5 years now.  "Why WAS it so important to the administration to invade Iraq anyway?"  And now that the whole thing has gone so badly, why are they so insistent on staying?  I think this is the best answer I've yet heard.  It is hardly surprising.  ( Read more... )
