I have finally settled with Walter and Mr. Wayne, their hospitality is welcome.

Thank you for your patience and support in the past, I have recovered my sight thanks to Megumi's care and my migraines have been soothed with the potions Mr. Reeve had provided. But the problems to focus and distinguish objects afar are still problematic. I should try ( Read more... )

I have neither heard nor seen any sign of your vampires. Though I have remained in my castle after you and I came to our little agreement.

Though it is good to hear you are healing and are well taken care of. Even if I could do nothing.

Yes, thank you Matthias. You have been mature to listen to reason. Heh. I wish your counterparts would follow suit.

I have a reason to listen. And you are, as always, welcome.

I... spoke with Atuko earlier. Apparently the sectors work... much like the city did before. Running past a barrier simply leave one running in circles. The Avatars... seem to be able to travel freely, however, which means there must be a way out... somehow.

We will find a way, keep searching for points of connections between the sectors.

Please excuse my forwardness, Madam.

My name is Haydee bint Tebelin Pasha. Currently, I am Miss Murray's guest in the museum annex. Neither she nor I have any idea of how the barriers came to be in place or of how we may traverse them. However, we concur that a daylight exploration of the area and its borders is in order.

Also, on the subject of your migraines, I believe I may be of assisstance. I cannot brew potions, but I am familiar with the body's pressure points and the art of manipulating them to relieve pain and stress.

Ah. Pleased to meet you, miss Pasha. Alexander Dumas. How quaint. Mr. Reeve already informed me how the barriers work, but a daylight exploration would be most welcome. I have an old map about Vertere, if we can draw similar areas, we can surely pinpoint our location (other than trust the cryptic "north" direction).

Thank you, Miss, but I have painkillers and potions at my disposal. I don't want to take overdoses of them.

If you wish to wean yourself from your medications, my techniques may be of use to you. No drugs are involved, and many of them, you can learn to perform up on yourself.

But, no matter. My offer stands should you change your mind.

Your map and your aid would be most welcome. I am very new to Vertere and was ignorant of its geography even before this sudden shift.

I will think about it. I need a doctor to have a regular medication. This irregular treatment could endanger my health. I won't become a burden.

Where is the Museum located? Is it too far from the Mansion?

I'm very difficult to be dispose of, Nuku Nuku. How are you in your new home?

I miss a lot of people, but it's okay. I'm going to be able to see Reeve-papa soon, and maybe everyone else.

Would you? May I ask how will you accomplish that?

My father appears to have adopted the habits he indulged in our own world. I recognize the pattern.

Where is he now? Still playing games? Vampires do act as children.

He will lurk somewhere he cannot be found until he is ready to attract attention.

Be on guard. You're likely his first target.
