NAVY SEAL WORKOUT

I'm going to start a new workout plan next week. Its called the Navy Seal workout. It is a 9 week program. There are two sets of nine week workout. Every workout includes running, dips, pushups, situps, and swimming and pullups. Since I can't swim I'm going to replace that with weight lifting. Plus I dont think my gym has a pullup bar so I might ( Read more... )

i don't have any advice to give but i want to thank you for the link. i was very interested in trying a navy seal workout but lost my link :\ i would like to start with you next week! i'm not very good at these things so perhaps having someone encouraging will help :)
did you do any research before switching swimming with weight lifting or you just picked something else? i can swim but due to binder issues we all know, that's not an option. i'm curious to know which is the closest thing to swimming in terms of workout.

re: the pullup bar, if your gym doesn't have it, you can buy it off the internet for like 10$ (as i did)... the kind you put within your door. it was also easy to set up!

Pull-up bar... If you gym has any cable-systems for weight training, it seems like those often have pull-up bars on them. If you're short like me (5'4") you may have to jump to reach them or get something to step up to them.
