Weight training after surgery.

Hi guys, I have just had surgery 12 days ago. The surgeon says that I can start training, he say I can start light weights and cardio as of now and heavier weights in another 2 weeks. I feel really fine, I have done some push ups already and it feels good ( Read more... )

first - congrats on the surgery!

second - what did/does your chest workout look like now?

some good lower chest exercises are:

dips - lean forward on them as this engages the lower pecs more than if you do straight up/down (engages triceps more); work up to do them weighted.

decline benches - either bb or db

My surgeon said to wait six weeks before I attempted any exercise.
