Different World Video

Wondering everyone's reactions to the Different World video.

I, for one, am um....whelmed? I honestly have no idea how to react other than "wtf?!" I think that video just confused the living daylights out of me.

Also, is Eddie's Megastore not loading for anyone? I get "page loading" and some broke HTML coding. Is it just me?

I'm assuming you're talking about the animated version. Yeah, that was a giant "WTF?" for me too. It was still kinda cool though. I definitely prefer the studio footage version.

I had my friend watch it with me. She thought it wasn't bad but it had *nothing* to do with the song. (And then right after that I showed her the Holy Smoke video and asked her which she thought was more "WTF?!". For some reason, she said Holy Smoke. o_O)

I love the Holy Smoke video. :) The scene with Janick playing the little plastic guitar makes me laugh every time.

Pretty weird stuff, if tou ask me. But quite OK for my taste.
I think it's some kind of sequel to "Wildest Dreams" video.

Can't say much more here than I totally agree. Maybe the visuals had some sort of subtext we're missing?

Or not.

I usually like videos that try and illustrate a new angle on the music, but this was useless dreck. I'd rather have the studio version. The documentary that came with the cd was far too short.

It had a kind of Def Leppard - Let's Get Rocked feel to me... if instead of the kid running around the street being rebellious, it had a metal singer running around a futuristic landscape with pink gloop in a bottle, that is... :-S
