I didn't think that the Slytherins would play so... roughly. But of course, Quidditch is a competitive game, but I found that a bit much. Yes, that's probably it. It can be both a boon and a detriment. But either way, Quidditch is quite the artful game, heh... a fieryy tango between brooms.

It is. It requires both mental toughness, on top of technical skills. That's an interesting comparison...

Yes, I agree with that; so much occurs within a single field, each player would need to have a clear sense of their objective, without encroaching upon another's. Well, especially their mid-air itinerary. But... it's difficult.
