So I was invited to the 55th anniversary party of our local jeweler tonight. It was a rather happening place with fine wine, assorted tasty snacks, live music, and all the expensive shiny rocks you would ever want to look at. It was somewhat of a sparse year this time around. Between the $60.00 price tag and the huge drama between the convention and the new owners of our traditional party hotel, Archon's attendance was down about a thousand people. Just a short epiphany I had yesterday that I thought I'd share. I've come to the conclusion that I've got it pretty good when it comes to employment. I spent eight hours yesterday catching up on a webcomic's five year backlog. So at work we have these calendars that were given to us by the STARS channel. As one would expect these calendars are all movie themed with birthdays of random movie stars marked and random information about upcoming events on the channel plainly laid out.
