Visiting Chiba

So yeah, as a bunch of other people have already mentioned, me and Kai-san won that volleyball tournament. It was mostly Kai-san's doing, though, as I admit I didn't exactly know a whole lot about volleyball or how to play it until we got there. But it was fun...for the most part. There was one part that I'd rather completely forget about ( Read more... )

doubles, nii-san, fail at surfing, shinji, baby sister growing up too fast, namari, beach volleyball, chiba, kai-san, stupid little boys, ryou-san

tl;dr

............. Except I did. You write more than I do. This is wrong on so many levels and it means I need to up my game and beat you. I'll have to write a post soon that is longer than this. It's a matter of pride now.

Namari is cute. Maybe we can hide her and my sisters away from the world until they're 21 and then they can go thinking about boys and things.

It wouldn't have been half as long if Namari hadn't been talked about. Namari tends to invoke rambling and gushing in me. I have to describe in detail the things she does for all of those who might not yet know of her perfectly adorable self.

....Do we really have to let them out at 21? Because, you know...I'm all for keeping them away from boys and things completely, even when they do technically get old enough to make up their own minds. As it is, I already know I'm going to hate anyone Namari will eventually end up dating anyhow. Might as well make it easier for the three of them and just keep them hidden away so that their over-protective nii-chans won't have to kill anybody.

Careful, I might think you're obsessed with her.............. Which is fine, big brothers are supposed to be.

I think if we keep them hidden from the world for longer than that we'll run the risk of being taken to jail for...... something. I'm not sure. Bad things could happen. But I know what you mean, I feel the same, The boys that Amaya seems to 'like' I hate.... I don't know them and have never seen them but I hate them instantly because they looked at my little sister with something other than innocence. I don't like it. They shouldn't be thinking like that at 10 years old, or 11 years old. It's wrong. I think I should move again in a few years, to a secluded island somewhere where the nearest person is a 100 miles away from me. I wonder if Tachibana-san would come with me if I did....... You should come too. You could be that person who lives 100 miles from us.

Oh, I'm not doubting it. I'm sure plenty of people, even if they have their own siblings, think I'm fixated on my baby sister. And they're probably right. She is my world and I'd do anything for her. But people don't get that I helped practically raise her, so I'm almost as much a father figure to her as I am a brother.

Hmmm...I suppose so. Though I'm still not going to like the idea of letting them out into what can be a hellish world, no matter how old they get. I don't want them becoming jaded by the things that are out there. ...Which include dirty-minded boys. I'd be lying if I said I wasn't already wondering about less than pure things involving girls at that age, but that's all the more reason for why I don't want Namari around those little shits. I know what they're thinking about and it's *not* happening.
...So yeah. Find us a few secluded islands somewhere and maybe we can all move out there together.

Oh~ You're the one who was teamed with the flea-bitten mongrel~ ^^ I have the recording of the match if you want?

Oi, oi~! Don't call him names. ...Even if he does kinda look like a cocker spaniel with that hair of his. ...And he kinda yaps like one sometimes, too.
And I think I'll pass. I'd rather not watch replays of that old woman sitting on my head.

Do you have proof he doesn't have fleas and isn't a mongrel? Cocker spaniels are nice looking dogs he couldn't be one of them~
Aa~ It's not just that part~ The rest of your matches as well. It was interesting to film ♥

Well, he seems to keep himself groomed and clean enough to assume he doesn't have any of your typical parasites. So no fleas, ticks, or mange. Though...technically, seeing as a mongrel is supposed to be a mixbreed, and I'm told Okinawa is something of a melting pot of lots of different cultures and races, then Kai-san more than likely probably is your definition of a mongrel. And like his fellow Okinawans, he is no doubt damn proud of it, too. I don't know about that. He's kinda fluffy and cute when he wants to be.
...Hmm... I suppose having a copy as a reminder of the fun we had...before that point would be nice.

Don't, Tetsu-kun. What if you accidentally managed Synchro? It would be horrible, being in the same state of mind as an alien.

Ryou-san, be nice. That "alien" knows how to play off the way I think really well. At least, in volleyball he can, so why not see if we can be just as good at tennis as a combination? We might end up being perfect together.

You said it yourself, it's mostly the alien who played during the beach volleyball. You want a doubles partner like that?

(ooc: haha, if only Tetsu can see the frown on his face at that last line~ XD)

We both played equal shares in the matches, but he was the one leading us. I don't think I would've won without him there. Even if it was another person who knew beach volleyball rather well. Kai-san understands how I think and move. And since I actually know what I'm doing when it comes to tennis, I think us teaming up will work even better for it.
...So...yeah. I do want a doubles partner like that.

[OOC: XD I had a feeling that was going to grate on his nerves seeing him say that. ...And here's Tetsu no doubt saying more things to bother him. >>;]

I'm also interested how your teamwork will work in tennis. ^^ So if Kai-kun agrees to this, let's play together. Higashikata and I against you two. Just let me know during practice, Tetsu-kun.

...Hai, buchou.

[OOC: He's still so very unimpressed by Minami as a leader. >>;]

Haha~ I don't think Tetsu's going to be impressed by him ever~ ^^; Minami's not going to do anything flashy or inspiring anytime soon~

Which is kinda sad. ;_; Tetsu has such high expectations in people who are supposed to be leaders, thanks to Tachibana. And it's sad that he's never going to look at Minami with even a portion of the same respect he held for Tachibana. >>;
