I'm sorry, you just suggested that Steve taught me how to do something involving a computer, and I had to laugh for 20 minutes. But now I'm good.
The press conference is imminent, certainly; I don't want to say too much, the good stuff ought to come from Steve. And it's worth thinking about how much should come from Tony Stark, inventor/CEO; how much from Director of SHIELD, and how much from the Iron Avenger. You know? We can smooth it all out over the next week. And by 'we' I mean you and Carol.
The first pitch thing is a genius idea. Genius. Steve's frustratingly humble about some things, but if you can convince him there's some cornball Norman Rockwell Americana angle to it -- and this is the last game the Yanks will play at Shea Stadium. Good thought.
Also. . .outing, ha ha. We won't be having any of that any time soon, all right?
*gasp* And you replied...fairly quickly... no, this HAS to be Steve's doing though if his nagging actually works, you might not need me around . I didn't know you KNEW what the reply button was. My goodness, Tony, you surprise me more and more every day.
I'm glad you agree it's imminent, seeing as Carol and I have been coordinating on setting it up. Steve will have his part, of course, but we just want him to explain Steve things. As with everything else, you'll have to do most of the talking. Carol will be there to represent the Avengers, I'll be there to represent Stark Enterprises, so you just have to be there as the Director of S.H.I.E.L.D. Obviously you'll be doing all the talking, but having others there will definitely help.
Let me convince Steve about the whole baseball thing. People want to see him, he's an icon. Besides, I've already basically set it up. The GM almost wet his pants when I suggested it as a possibility.
And Tony? I only have genius ideas, thank you very much.
