I guess the only thing I can do to help is hold off on teasing you for a few days - save the temperature increases for when you get back ;)

Blessed Be. I hope you are doing well in Iraq, I just tripped on to your LJ. Then I noticed you were a fellow wiccan, I just wanted to wish you a Happy Beltane, and if you want to talk to anothe pagan, feel free to add me. Blessed Be

May the God and Goddess be with you

Actually I would declare myself pagan as well, usally wiccan seems like the nicer more pc way of putting things. For me it represents a verbal blanket of comfort

We have some LJ friends in common, and i hope that you are doing well over there. My boyfriend is a Major and did two tours of Iraq, so I've heard stories. Best of luck to you.

We do indeed have some mutual friends, but you should probably refrain from saying that your boyfriend is in the military. It could really get him into some trouble. Somethings change over here and others don't so I am sure some of the stories are still happening. It was nice hearing from you. And I will definately stay safe.

Oh, saying he's in isn't a big deal, honestly. He's currently on terminal leave and will offically be done shortly, at which point it will no longer matter. I hiave no doubt that some things have changed, given when his first tour was, for example. While it's different now, it's still not a very safe place. Here's wishing you a safe and happy return.
