I cant think of a Filipino restaurant here, I've certainly never had Filipino cuisine.

it's fatty...not at all like the surrounding cultures geographically. some Chinese, some Spanish, a bit Southeast Asian, maybe Polynesian all in the mix. i call it Asian soul food, at the risk of being essentialist and politically incorrect. but it does feed you...well!
