Yes, I have resurfaced. The final State Fair tally was three Firsts, Five Seconds, three Thirds and one Honorable Mention. Winning contests were cookies, cakes, candy, tricks with mix and pies ( Read more... )

We missed the fair entirely again this year. Which is pretty much typical. 8-/

Thanks! Are we ever going to see you at nightknitters? If fridays don't work, we also meet at Fat Straws Bubble Tea shop behind the Galleria on Wednesdays. I know it's a school night but they close at 10 and they do kick us out at around 10:20 or so.

Quite honestly, probably not until after the New Year. I've just got too many other things to do and haven't picked up the knitting needles since I finished Alissa's slippers. In part because I found my cross-stitch to take with me for sitting in the doctor's office while I was driving her to her appointments, so I've been working on that. Might even finish in another five years. 8-)

Thanks! It's a Pecan Slice and Bake Cookie made with a Cornbread mix. I know, it sounds strange but they are really good and it's a Toni original. :)
