I'm still, honest to God, working on babbymeme responses, but these can be QUICK AND ADORABLE. Or quick and...LESS ADORABLE, depending on who you give me.
three kisses.
❤ give me one of my characters and one of yours. [or several of either and I will mix & match]
❤ i will write three short snippets.
❤ each snippet will feature a kiss.

...or, if that is INSANE of me, judith and enfys.

Enfys never lies down, Judith notices, somewhere in the middle of everything; never stilling, never quiet, she doesn't even sleep like a person should. She's knuckles banging around inside a tin can, a skittish collection of bone spars bound together by strips of paper. (Judith draws this one night, while Enfys is failing to rest with her eyes closed.)
Judith knows what broken looks like, the fierce and laughing bravery of the dying and the fucked-up and the monstrous with hearts like shining armor, and this is not okay with her. Not that she knows it, not that it exists, none of it.
She climbs into bed with Enfys and pulls her into an embrace that Enfys laughs in, squirming until Judith catches her head with a curved hand at its base and kisses her well, and quietly, memory-faded, and it only slows her down. But that's something.
no fire no saltIt's possible he could have reacted to the news of her pregnancy with more grace, but he submits that since they have done this five times before it's possible ( ... )

"Jason--"
"I said get away from me, are you slow?"
"Look, it's just the mistletoe, it's not a--I mean, it wasn't my idea, stop freaking out. I know it's awkward, but you're just making it worse--"
"Drake, I will end you, stop following me." Jason spins on his heel to face him, staring as grimly as he can manage, but Tim just has that stupid Tim look, and you can't even hit him to make him stop; Jason's tried.
"Are you going to calm down?" Tim folds his arms over his chest, trying to come off as mini-Batman, mostly failing, and Jason can't ever tell him that that's the thing he hates the least about him. When he can get worked up to hate; mostly Tim makes him feel tired. Old and fucked up, even though technically he's pretty sure Tim is a few months older than he is.
"I'm calm. Not calm would involve knives. I'm just going to take a shower and brush my teeth for a week, excuse me--" He backs away, Tim moves forward, and then they both look up ( ... )

when your education x-rays cannot see beneath my skin
By now, Jason knows which buttons to press on Tim to get him to at least do something stupid, and tonight 'stupid' means 'drinking in uniform while we sit on a roof and bitch'. It's below stealing the car, but above throwing batarangs at Jason's head. Getting him here mostly involved smirking and a few acrobat tricks, because Tim, he's learning, is a sucker for anything that reminds him of Grayson.
"And, you know, it's not like I'm not grateful he let me stay, I am, it's just--"
"--that he treats us like we're as messed up as he is."
Tim pauses. "That's not what I was saying."
"He does. And I know, you're trying to think of a way to call me fucked up without making me push you off this ledge, don't bother. I know. But you--you are--" Jason tips his head back, biting his tongue--he's what? Better? Sane? A good soldier? The word he needs refuses to come to him ( ... )

Her mouth never quite knows how to soften, not at first, reminding him of a river smoothed pebble, the heel of a hand, things that resist by their nature and not necessarily inclination--or this is what he hopes, anyway, every time he tries to kiss her and comes up against a wall. There's history in everything, and he doesn't know what to do with the years that hold them apart. She makes him feel young and stupid and useless, and then she makes him want to change that ( ... )

She's not supposed to look at him like that, her reproach skittish and frail, like she's afraid of what he has to say. Maybe that shouldn't be what stands out to him in this scenario, but he's too cold-deep furious to care about 'should'. Guilt means she knows she did something wrong, and he can't deal with that, not on top of the rest of his day; if she'd just stare and tell him to grow up, already--at least he'd know it didn't mean anything. At least this kid could die and he'd know she'd forget him as soon as they left town, but now he can't know that, and it's not even important right now, there are a hundred other things he should be thinking of ( ... )
