Its interesting because I spend most of my time listening to her talk about the things happening in her life, the drama unfolding around her that she seems to understand is caused by her, but hasn't ( Read more... )

Those last few sentences are exactly right. You DO deserve someone who fits you like a glove, in all areas...not just a couple.

i think its awesome youve thought out what you want in life and in a partner. Too often people DONT do this, or dont do it well and they end up with someone and find that they are only trying to change them to fit the mold they initially wanted. Then they just discard that person and move on to the next and so on and so forth.. at least having a plan of action and an idea of what you TRULY want and sticking to that eliminates hurting feelings un-neededly..(is that even a word?)

Well, if it isn't a word, it should be. Lol. I appreciate the thoughts on this. My motto these days is "take em the way they come or don't take em at all." Its easy to try out someone new, think that the "little" things you don't like about them will pass with time, only to find out that you just ignored or downplayed those issues until you were WAY too wrapped up in each other.

I'm definitely sticking with refusing to hurt people's (or my own) feelings. I know what I'm looking for (when I look for it, and THAT bat-friends is a long time away) and anyone who doesn't fit is gonna know right off the bat. Sounds mean, but its just being straight with people.
