Status of New Year's resolution to work out three x's a week: on target. Thank you, Jane Fonda circa 1982. I jumped around in front of the tv while watching Desperately Seeking Susan the other night, god damn I still love that movie. Something about doing workouts makes me crave the 80s nostalgia.

Well, I'm off to the square to help Rob pick out a new set of glasses for himself. His lifestyle follows his frames. I need to go to the store so that I can make Thxgiving things the night before, like the tomato basil soup I want to try out. Wow, we're doing it, two weeks from today we're heading out to Montreal...I think this is exactly what we all need, for different reasons of course, but this trip is shaping up to be a much-needed departure for all of us, just thinking about it really hits the spot, like sucking on a coconut cream chocolate truffle.

I stayed up until 2:30 last night reading my book. I haven't done that for a good year, I think. And it's not even a very good book, it's just that I reached that juicy part that all narratives have, about 2/3 of the way through. I wish I was good at drawing up plots.
