Arabella wakes, as one tends to do in the morning, and finds the bed empty, as she tends to do in the morning, but registers a bit more surprise than she would readily admit to when she sits up to see her husband standing beside the window. "My dear..?"

"It is a beautiful day, is it not?" Jonathan replies gaily, still looking out of the window. "Quite the finest morning I have seen in, oh, simply ages!"

It is then she notices that it is, in fact, morning. Melodramatic though it may be, she gasps. "Oh, my dear!"

He turns from the window to face her, smiling broadly. 'What do you think? Shall we go for a walk later this morning? The weather seems too fine to pass up.'
