One of the examiners at work is looking to take some kind of walking holiday up in Snowdonia, and is looking for reccomendation on where they could stay.  I figured that there's a few outdoorsy type on my friends list that might be able to toss out a few good ideas

There are loads of holiday cottages try walesdirectory.co.uk
For hill walking I'd go with following bases:- Dolwyddelan, Betws-y-Coed or Beddgelert. Although anywhere in the heart of Snowdonia .

Holiday cottage

Someone got this comment via google! I didn't know if you were still looking, but our cottage is very close to Snowdonia,with unrivalled views of the mountains, and the sea outside the window! www.awelonholidaycottage.co.uk is the place to look,
