It is a military term meaning if you join the military you were quaranteed three hot meals day and a cot to sleep on, hence the term, "Three Hots and a Cot". I think it is a WWII era term.

It is very fortunate that I did not post yesterday. It would have been in *all caps* and it would have been full of expletives and the foulest language. Sometime during the night, I guess my seratonin shifted and I woke up today sorta happy. So I do feel better. I hope everyone is doing well. It is monday around Noon. Work has slowed a bit so I tohught I would type something quick. I had an OK weekend. I saw King Kong. It was OK, I guess. The whole "Brontosaurus Traffic Jam" was pretty stupid. The graphics were terrible. George Lucas must have slipped into Peter Jackson's brain when that was thought up and executed. It is Friday and I am pretty whipped. It has been a pretty busy week. I am going to my local drinking hole tonight and get "rounded". It's a good way to start out the weekend. Don't you think?
