Like the circle of life, another year ends with but a whimper. For me that is. Others, I’m not so sure about. Death they say, is inevitable but so is the rebirth--a flaming phoenix spiraling upwards amidst the barely smothered ashes of gray, more beautiful and fierce than before, devouring the dull palette of its origin in a ring of brilliance.
