Cosplay, WTH?

So, for a while now I've been toying with the idea of throwing together a cosplay outfit. Whether just for fancy dress or going to cons, I've immediately hit on the costume I want to create, specifically this character:

Strange...

I always thought Captain Chaos would be more your type... ;-)

BTW: I have shot the P38.
Couldn't hit the target if my life depended on it...
Of course, it could be that the one I used was worn out and badly mistreated.
(It was one of the set we used for dismantling practice at a weapons course way back when I was in the RNoAF. Before they adopted the Glock as a standard issue weapon.)
The interesting thing with the P38 is that on a well-maintained one with all parts, you can see if there's a round in the chamber.

Oooh, ouch! X D I challenge you to tell me at what point in his life Dom Delouise weighed 83 kilos! : p

Gloria suggested it would better for me to cosplay as Professor Chaos since all that would be required is aluminium foil. X D

As for the P38, I knew it was supposed to be cheaper than the Luger, but I didn't know it was supposed to be quite so crappy. Hmm. Never fired one though. What did you think of the Glock?

Don't know if it was 'crappy', but the one I shot with had been used for years to teach weapons techs how to dismantle a pistol, and nobody had any idea exactly how many rounds it had fired, either.
But as some of the others in the same class managed to qualify with theirs, and they used just as old pistols, it could just have been me...

I got to fondle the Glock for a few moments back then, and that's all the experience I got. Didn't look as 'plasticky' as the hype said it would.

Just watched this actually, pretty good. Definitely spaghetti western-ish.
