Really? I am on Facebook, but I operate under the assumption that "Facebook is for moms". It's where I put my public, smiling profile about all that is right in the world. Basically, just ye forward facing public BS. It's certainly not a place to have a decent conversation or network with people who have sensitive interests. Nothing really beat LJ for conversation (FB might beat it for drama though).

Yeah - I hope to be working again too. I can't find work in my specialty. AT ALL. NO ONE IS CALLING ME. Even for things I'm really, really qualified for. I hope you get rolling again though, this winter has been terrible and long - let's hope the coming one isn't.
