I figure Marvin Gaye, Pantera, and Wagner go together well enough. I only came across that song from the Johnny Cash version, but even the original tugs at me in the same way. "Hurt" became Johnny's song though. It's almost unfair to NIN, but I think they have the honor of becoming the closing theme to one of the greatest music stories of all time.

I will take them all. ♥♥♥

I'm such a Beirut nerd, especially the live stuff. *A*

But I hope you feel a bit better later, bb. ♥

I only came into it when I came across the video for "Elephant Gun" by complete random chance. It's one of the most beautiful songs ever written IMHO. I just got a live album from them and it's fantastic. I could listen to any of their stuff at pretty much every point with the exception of when I need hard rocking. Thus, the other stuff on the list comes in handy.

Danke, as always. ♥

I feel ya! 80s music all the way for me when I need 'hard rockin'. Except I still secretly love Myooz. Blame it on Charlene! Might I suggest Ryan Adams' Love is Hell for a feelin' shitty/emo kinda day? Though it's very alt-country, as per usual. I also secretly prefer his version of Wonderwall to the original Oasis one, mostly because it's softer and you can hear the emotion in his voice, like he might cry. ;A;

Very cool. My shitty/emo music day is set to Godspeed! You Black Emperor's Lift Your Skinny Fists Like Antennas to Heaven. Four tracks, an hour and a half of brilliance.

Ryan Adams=baller.
