I wish you could have seen me jumping up and down, alternately squeeing and cackling like a madwoman, when I first saw this. (Hahaha - who am I kidding, I still am!)

I love everything about this picture; it's almost exactly the way I imagined it in my head. VOLGER'S FACE. OMG. And look at Alek and Deryn... busted. She's being such a girl about her shirt, too, I love it. I may have to print this picture out and frame it. LOL

Thank YOU for writing such an amusing drabble, haha. I love it so much (even if it's not canon anymore) because Volger is all *head exploding* internally. And Alek looks at Deryn like his dad looked at his mom, and Volger recognizes it. And Deryn is... so Deryn, haha! And Volger gives them FIVE MINUTES. And oh, how I love this drabble!!!!

LIKE it?? Since I saw it I've emailed/called everyone I know to tell them about it, updated my Facebook status to brag about it, and it's now set as my desktop wallpaper. LOL

I had a lot of fun with Volger on that one, yes. Poor guy... all he wants is to do his job quietly and in peace, without crossdressing girls popping up to ruin everything. Hahaha! Too bad for him. :D

(Did I mention I love how Alek's got his hand up, like he's trying to put himself between Volger and Deryn... so adorably chivalrous of him!!)

eta; i was just wondering if the drabbles had spoilers to bk 2 in the series or not...if so i'll have to wait till i pick up the sequel..

The first half is all spoiler free for Behemoth, when the drabbles start being spoilery she says so in her author's note so reading them shouldn't be a problem :)

(This fanart is not spoilery at all either, btw :P)

Yay! I have been staying away from fandom in fear of getting spoiled! I have learned from experience to stay away from fandom if a new part of the series comes out...

I have been resisting picking up the second book from Borders..but i just might have to...Christmas gift for myself and all. :D

I've only had access to the first book (thank you, lazy cousins leaving their stuff everywhere) but I reaaallllyyy want to go and get the next one post-haste. Why does everything have to be closed today, haha XD?!

I was so happy when I found there is a fandom! Even as small as it is, at least we get fic :D I wish the LJ comm were active, but at least there is a forum at the author's website.

You MUST read the second one soon! It's awesome. Let me know when you do XD

I started Behemoth right after I finished Leviathan. It's like a read a very long book, haha. Now I REALLY NEED Goliath right now O_O But I guess I'll have to settle for fanarting in the meantime XD

Volger worked with Alek's dad before he even married Alek's mom so... at least 50? I can't remember what the book says but by word (or drawing?) of god he looks like this.
