Weekly Update #1 of ?
Inspired by Rosanna's post a few days ago, here's an update on my life since I don't post to twitter much, and my facebook updates are usually about cats and the weird fucking people on the ttc/subway. Complete with song lyrics LJ cut, for that extra nostalgia.
Right now I'm still at OCAD, and I've finished my second semester of second year. Re-taking a couple of courses in the summer because I got a super tough professor, and had to drop the class. How tough? All but two people in the class got midterm warnings for having marks under 65. Yeah, there was no way I was going to pass that class. Fuck that shit.
Made a couple of friends at school, but I'm not doing so well in the good/best friend department. My best friend from high school is moving to Alberta to live with her boyfriend, and my other close friend kind of annoys me now so I don't talk to her as much. She's the one that was/still is fucking obsessed with Degrassi, if anyone remembers. I have made another spectacular online friend from a different fandom, so I that's who I've been talking about my problems with since I abandoned my LJ and stopped posting on twitter as much. I apologize for abandoning you guys like that, that was pretty rude of me, but it was honestly easier to just keep up with one person than an entire group of people. That being said, I still care about all of you guys. Which is why I'll be making more of an effort to update. I'd like to try to get back to the closer-knit group we were, or at least as much as we can now.
Still no boyfriends, but I've got my cats and a couple different versions of Lennon and Chip running around in my sims game. ;]
I do actively update my simblr with things going on in my game, so whoever is still interested in that can check/follow my blog for those updates. The Hollinter family has been almost untouched, but I have a new hood full of supernaturals called Northmill that I love playing. I haven't quite abandoned my alphabetacy yet, I'm just not sure whether I want to fully abandon trying to have a story, or come up with a way to reboot it.
That's all I really have to say for now, so I suppose I'll try to update my journal on a weekly basis from now on? Links will be posted on twitter when I do, and you guys can feel free to message me on facebook if you ever want to chat (I'm more likely to see it than on twitter.) Just so you all know, I won;t be updating the sims journal anymore, but it will be left up for you to reread (and judge 13-17 year old me!) whenever you feel like it.
