All in all, if I have to turn 31, I suppose this was an alright way to celebrate it!
"The Expendables" was pretty much exactly what I was expecting. Actually, I am surprised because I broke down and allowed myself to hope for some awesomeness from this movie.
I was not disappointed.
I really, actually, was not disappointed. For me, that's saying a great deal.
In fact, my face may have melted off.
Clean off.
By the shear magnitude of the awesomeness.
I mean, come on!
Jet Li vs. Dolph Lundgren?
Stalone vs. Steve Austin?
Jason Statham cutting peoples' arms and heads off after having already kicked their arses?
What? Don't look at me that way!
I am a sensitive, loving, Christian man, but I am allowed to like a guy's movie!
Heck, my MOM even liked this movie!
