This was a hilarious article! I literally laughed at loud at the
life lesson of He-Man.

Personally, growing up on a farm in boonie-hamlet southern alberta, with
exactly three channels to choose from, I, horribly deprived child that I was,
never did get to see G.I. Joe, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, or Jem. And only
very rarely remember seeing He-Man and Popeye. Which leaves The Smurfs and
Transformers (and, of course, Bugs Bunny) as my life teachers.

And I watched Transformers in Gr. 10; I thought I was cool because I ( ... )

I honestly never did see Jem.

Watched plenty of Smurfs, He-Man, and Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles though. And while I don't remember really watching Transformers, the toys were awesome.

Wow.. I must be just in the right age group (29), because I remember all of these vividly. Having a little sister helps - I saw way, way too much of Jem growing up.
