I've seen a lot of people talk about how the incident with the prison made them disgusted, and that's about where I stand, too. It wouldn't be a good idea to turn out backs on what the deities did, and it wouldn't be a good idea to forget what was wrong about it. Of course, we can't just try and take down the deities. Vigilantism easily turns into terrorism and anarchy readily decays into chaos. A measure of lawfulness is necessary, with or without a governing body.

The deities seem to fear our collective ability to gain control of our situations. They fear organization. We can be better controlled when our society is in a state of instability.

I don't think anything we could come up with would work without the backing of the deities. You need a strong foundation to build any sort of organization on. Otherwise it'll probably collapse right away.

Then again, after what they pulled. I'm not sure if I'd want their backing in any case. Still, they're the guys that call the shots around here. If we're going to get anything done, we'd have to start with them, wouldn't we?
