Really well written.. It kind of reminded me of A Rose For Emily by .. William Faulkner. Your story, however, is written through the eyes of Sarah instead of the eyes of the community like A Rose For Emily was written. It would be interesting to see what the community thinks of Sarah... what kind of stories they would make up about her. She means innocence and no harm to the neighborhood, yet the neighbors probably think badly of her... Anyways, it was a well written and interesting story, good descriptions and such. I got a good idea of what most of the people looked like.. except for Sarah, though. I pictured her as a somewhat thin, shoulder length brown hair woman. And a sense of her living in a dream world, fearful of facing reality.
