I'm so proud of my gf right now. She and her crew are shooting her sci-fi short in our bedroom right now and she's such a confident, commanding presence as a director. She's really doing what she's meant to do. Her cast and crew seem to love her almost as much as I do. My job is basically cooking for them all and we're all well fed so my job is

Over here we're struggling with school and video games, and thinking about cutting a hole in one of the walls and flip-flopping what's and office/studio and what's a bedroom. Not quite as cool as a movie, but hey.

My studio here is going to be the character's office for one scene so I have to start packing up my stuff into boxes because he's not an artist. This will not help me meet certain approaching deadlines.

It means I wouldn't have to go outside to get into the studio. Plus, people could get to the bathroom without going through someone's bedroom.
As for those approaching deadlines... I don't want to say anything that might mess with your momentum, but, I think I might have mentioned I don't want to rush the layout of this issue... also, I haven't fielded many outside submissions yet. More time might be necessary all around.
