I'm curious to see how this is going to go. I'll definitely have to watch it. I'm sure there will be the negative side of it but it seems like they might go into the positive too...which would be refreshing

I loved SeaQuest! And that does look pretty cool. I'm not that kind of gamer, simply because it's computer oriented, but I can definitely see the appeal. Sometimes I consider checking it out, and then I realize I wouldn't have any time left for Lori, who's been my nearly daily RP partner for six and a half years. Giving up my chars would suck.

Definitely, true, you do form an attachment to the video game rp characters...but I never felt it was as strong as the attachment I had for my tabletop characters. You know? But then when we moved away from all the good tabletop players we knew...well....it was better than nothing hehe.
