[Giovanni is just...watching in amusement. Wow. His son is doing chores. Now the question was: did Maria rope him into it, or did Eald somehow manage to figure out this feat?]

[Hey now, papa, he just didn't want to live in a dirty apartment thank you... and there are no servants here so... yeah. Shh. Eald probably had something to do with it too.]

[Giovanni takes the time to walk up to his son after he's decided to lounge around on break and pat the young man fondly on the head. His lips twitch into a thin smile that indicates he's forcing most of it back to be cordial and ...not too embarrassing to his son.]

How nice of you to pitch in around the house for once, Federico. [He jokes lightly.]

[Oop! Well he hadn't expected that. Ducking his head a bit as his father pat his head, he'll then tip it back to look at him. Scoffing at his remark he'll bring a leg up, resting it on one knee.]

I helped back home plenty of times, papa. [Really. Name one time. One time, Federico.]

Mhmm. I can recall oh-so-vividly the amount of times you've helped your mother and sister around the house with menial chores. In fact, I can count them without even using any fingers or other digits. [That would equal zero.]

I've helped Ezio with his chores? [That totally counts. Maybe. Except most of the time he was there more to tease him.]

[He just gives Federico a look before shaking his head and walking off with a small smile on his lips.]

I have, papa! [He'll shift to turn in his seat, kneeling on it and calling to his father as he walks off. He'll then snort, before chuckling and plopping back into his seat proper.]
