YES YES!! I agree with your review. OMG I love nino so much in this drama. Looks so familiar with his life. Always money and money. And I love the quote "No matter where I go, What I do Doesn't change". And other scene in this dorama. Well, maybe I will watch again until episode 9 bcs I don't like Nino move and the story become so sad :( haha.. I hate it...

This drama provides lots of memorable quotes and scenes and I love them <3 The last episode has its own purpose but I agree that the preceding 9 episodes are packed with displays of Tokai as a genius which we all love :3 And I need more of it! Haha

Black pean does have lots of hidden meanings and morals woven throughout the story and they manage their cliffhangers towards each episode very well wanting you to know more. I would love to have a special just to see Tokai once again :'(
I do agree they could have done more character development for Neko since I want to know why she follows him and does what he asks of her.
Nino really did an amazing performance being comfortable with his character to perform adlibs and his walk stance was even worse than normal :) Also being able to act just with facial emotions (behind a surgeon's mask) and still being coveyed to the audience is difficult to do put he pulls it off.
It was interesting to see how each character had flaws of their own and that no one is perfect despite being perceived as.
Will defiantly miss Tokai but hope he has fun fixing paitents, saying "jama", taking money from people all with his evil smirk!

I read that he made himself walk like that on purpose to fit with his character. (I think) Like he walks slowly when someone is in need of surgery where as everyone else is rushing around.
It was one of my favourite roles Nino has taken. I do also hope for another season/ special. Very interested with the new movie coming up.
I would really love it if he decides to take a villian role to see how he will tackle with that.

i dont know if all think ending of black pean is good, for me personally, i'm still dissapointed with the ending of the black pean. If me is Tokai, i still can't forgive Dr Sekai Seigo and doesn't want to help him and just make sure he is dead. Imagine if you are Dr Tokai and Your father is slandered and tarnished the good name until he is dead. I'll not think at all to forgive Dr Sekai and Dr Kurosaki for that. If Dr Sekai really really want to apologize to Dr Sekai Seigo, himself have to be admit his deed in front all the public, so he can know what is feeling for Dr Tokai Seichiro when slandered like that. If he can't until then end of the film, then it is the same that Dr Sekai is bad people that can't admit his deed even though maybe he is not wrong, but he have to be judge for his doing when he put the pean inside of the someone body. if me personally, i still want to kill that Dr Sekai Seigo and Dr Kurosaki especially (maybe not directly, but have should not help Dr Sekai Seigo when he is dying)
