That was a spot of trouble last week, eh... Though I was otherwise occupied for the last bit, very busy things, so if you'd care to inform me about what happened, I wouldn't be against it.

If you're not inclined to talk, that's quite all right. I've made a new recipe for scones, see, and they're much better now, so I do invite anyone to come and ( Read more... )

Was it on purpose?

A magical bewitched cheese, I mean.

Well it was a Lancre Blue cheese but there's nothing really "magical" about that.

I made one and well...his name is Horace and he lives with the Feegles now.

... I feel like I've bonded with you in this moment.

They really can do that, then? I mean, I just thought it was settling from the heat of the oven, but... well, perhaps it's better off in the wild with its own kind.

We blew up the factory, that was a quite a sight to see.

( small chuckling. ) Traps possibly would be in order, especially if people are going out of their way to steal your scones.

Well, the trap was going to be for the scones if they ever came out of hiding.

Never mind that, what's this "we" blew up the factory? You didn't get involved, did you?

Oh? Here I was thinking they couldn't have actually walked off. I'll make myself a reminded to never, ever try your food.

I did say "we", yes? Well, I wasn't involved in handling any explosives, simply a lookout.

My food is delicious and you'll try some. It's just a hypothetical situation for a theoretical scone, that's all.

... Why would you get yourself in something so dangerous? I don't like it one bit.

You made scones? Brilliant! It's been a while since I've had proper English food.

Oh, you're English? That's brilliant. You're brilliant. Everything's brilliant.

I'm the most brilliant, of course, but that's neither here nor there. Hullo.

Best temp in Chiswick, that's me! I'm Donna, by the way - Donna Noble. It's great to meet a fellow Brit around here!

Ah, Chiswick. I always liked it there. Best sort of place to be.

It's good to meet you, Donna. It must be hard on you, this town being American and all.

Someone stole a plate of scones?

is_an_island July 13 2010, 01:02:19 UTC
I certainly hope so.

It couldn't have walked off on its own, even if it was... burbling a bit, but... a trick of the eye.

Burbling?

With those little pockets of gas. Hopefully not breathing.

I made sure to put the oven on the highest to avoid that problem this time, but it seemed it didn't quite work.

Don't be silly. I kept my kitchen in very good shape.

Well, for the last three days or so, at least.
