Thankyou. I have always wondered what the upper east side was ... now I know :-)

I love being asked for direction when I am travelling, because I like solving puzzles. Maybe you look like a good puzzle solver.

Broadway is a great idea as far as streets go. With the shortest point between two street corners in Manhattan being a straight line of pythagorean distance, I don't like to think of how you'd get from the corner of 6th ave and 78th street to the corner of 1st ave and 1st street without it.

I've read all your posts on New York, and found them absolutely fascinating! I'm definitely going to have to visit the city some time soon.
