[Voice | English]

How amusing that we keep receiving gifts and presents from the Scientists. I suppose I shouldn't sound like I'm complaining, as I would never think of doing so. Gifts are welcome, I only wish it didn't feel like they were to appease us for all of the trouble that comes our way so often.

But where are my manners? Ah, grazie for the ( Read more... )

Well... if just seems like after something terrible happens we get more things from the Scientists.

Perhaps I'm just over thinking the matter.

[He'll glance back at his brother, setting his communicator down.]

Is that so? Don't look so glum about it now. [Teases him.]

[He's trying so hard not to chuckle at how displeased his brother seems to be. He shouldn't be amused by it, but Ezio was amusing in general. He'll smile taking the robe and hang it over his arm, petting it with one hand.]

It seems well made... [He'll then draw his brother into a hug, patting his back.]

Grazie, Ezio. And if it makes you feel better- [He'll draw back from the hug a bit, hand on Ezio's shoulder.] - I have nothing to give you... unless another hug will do?

[Oh, there he is. Right. Go time.]

Merry Christmas!

[A voice he was always happy to hear! Even squeaky.]

And to you as well, Moa. Are you having a merry Christmas, since I've wished you one?

[Well, good, cause it definitely had a squeak to it. Ezio has assured her that Federico would like her present, but she's still nervous about it. She hasn't honestly kissed many people, and it's been a while since then as well (Dad doesn't count, of course). But he is cute, and really nice to her, and he does seem to like her...and Ezio said it was a good idea, and surely Ezio is always right...okay, Moa, get your game face on.]

Oh, yes. I'm...I'm giving everyone their presents now.

[WIGGLES EYEBROWS. Metaphorical eyebrows.]

It seems everyone has gifts to give, and here I am empty handed for those who deserve them!

[Which means he has nothing for you, Moa... but we'll see about that. Maybe he can come up with something.]

If you're going door to door, you should be careful... if not have someone with you just in case. A festive time, si, but that hardly means there is no danger.

... I really can't be the one to answer that. I can't foresee the future, but from what happens here already, I wouldn't be surprised.

[This is Discedo. Of course there is something coming their way. It always is... sometimes it just gets delayed in coming to them!]

[Or he thinks that's what he said.]

I'm not sure what that means, signore.

I suppose it's better than getting nothing at all though.

Of course, that I'm not complaining about. Well, I never set out to complain in the first place.

I guess I just found it amusing with the trouble that happens then the gifts shortly after. Though this time it happens to be a holiday. I suppose I can't fault them for being generous.

I'd say they're trying to compensate, but the trouble they're causing us is far greater than the gifts could ever make up for.

As much as I am not fond of them, I can say that I doubt all the trouble that comes our way is entirely their fault. Or perhaps I'm being too optimistic.
