First Day(s) of School
So I have officially been to all of my classes now. Well, at least all of my lectures (not the discussions). For the most part I think that I am going to survive my first semester. Brinn moved in today. She seems as nice as she was one the phone, and easier to talk to. I helped her put together the floor lamp, TV stand, and end table that she brought with her, while her parents put together the futon. Funny story, they bought the futon mattress cover, but not the actual mattress. I think her parents are going to go back ( Read more... ) -

So today I started out by painting my fingernails black in rebellion towards the Subway policy that didn't allow me to have any nailpolish on. Then I read the first chapter of 1984. I really don't think that I followed it very well, but I'm hoping that it will make more sense as I read more ( Read more... ) -
SOAR Update
So the pink piece of paper was nothing interesting. It had to do with math (which I tested completely out of!! yay!). I love my schedule, and that totally surprises me considering this is the last possible day for SOAR. I'll post my schedule later, but right now I've got to go get my student ID. I swear, every time I close at Subway I bleed. The first two times I cut myself, but tonight really topped it off and convinced me. Not only did I cut my right and in two places, I broke my left thumbnail back so far that it bled. Funny thing is, the thing that hurt the most the whole night was spilling a bit of de-limer on my dry skin. Anyways ( Read more... ) -
I hate work.
It's not a good sign when working drives you to the brink of tears. I don't know what went wrong tonight. Everyone else manages to get everything done and get out between 10 and 10:30. I however didn't get out until 11:30. How is that possible? I know it was my first night closing alone, not to mention NOTHING was done when my precloser left ( Read more... ) -
FBLA update
Today I spent most of the day hanging out at the mall. We just found out that we probably won't be able to stay here Sunday night because Mr. Larson got his dates messed up and thought the whole thing was done on the first, not the second. So, I'm not really sure what we're going to do between check out at 11am and 7 when the closing ceremony ( Read more... )
