I despise dating. Yes, I do. I hate navigating the glbt waters of the relationship scene. The need for definitions, categories, delineated lines always repels me, and I always end up in conversations that go a little like this:
"Straight or gay?"
"Pansexual."
"....oh."
or,
"Gender identity?"
"Androgyne."
"MtF?"
"No, androgyne."

You sound absolutely fascinating and interesting.
Some people have to have little labels and boxes or they get all freaked out. Which is really sad for them, seeing as life is a pretty messy, wild thing itself.
You definitely don't need to be around 'pigeon-holers.' Fortunately there are lots of very cool open-minded people out there and if you need to meet one you will. Just keep being you.

I think I prefer my life messy, and I've had to deal with enough pigeon-holers (that sounds like a euphemism for...something) that it doesn't shatter my universe any more, unless it's with wonder at the sheer ignorance. I feel pretty whole unto myself, and so fortunately the whole dating game doesn't devastate me when it doesn't pan out.
Yummy times ten million. I feel much better now!
