I thought it would be worthwhile - for me, at least - to record a bit of my gender-history, or my me-history, since really it's all one in the same thing....to remind myself later of how I got here, and who I am. (Thank you,

Wow, no wonder you seem like such an amazing person - you are! *huggs*
And your family sounds amazing too.
I'm glad you are finding a way to be yourself and love yourself far beyond the confines of our simplistic society. It's obviously a stuggle at times, because real individual freedom is so hard to find and keep among the pack, but it's spirits such as you that can help the rest of us realize not only our own true potential, but the potential of this amazing world. And you can do that just by being you.
On a practical note Isa/bel, is there a pronoun you like to use for yourself? When I was in my early 20's I decided I didn't like 'he' or 'she' or 'him' and 'her', so I tried out 'se' and 'hem'. Because obviously both/neither male-female pronouns apply for you.
I am damn well DEDICATED to loving myself. My parents trained it into me ever since I was old enough to be cognizant and I am so, so incredibly grateful for that. ...sometimes it felt cheesy and a lot of times it felt forced, but their raising of me to that simple song - love who you are, love who you are - has been my fallback so many times. And I like to think all of us have so much potential yet to be unlocked. ♥
Isa or Isabel is fine, of course, and "hey, you!" also is fine. I have a slew of nicknames among friends. But as far as pronouns go, any gender-neutral pronouns that the speaker's comfortable with (xir, hir, ze, zir, x'elloth, cthuluhu, Ye Androgynous Being) are just fine with me. So whatever suits you!
Not to completely forgo what was a well-written entry, but...I am going to forgo a well-written entry.
I will be in the city tomorrow to pick up some things. I know the others are in Japan. Do you want to meet up? I don't typically enjoy random conversational affairs, but...
I haven't seen you in a while. And Ava tells me I should ingest something that isn't made of sugar.

( I also exceptionally love that you use the word 'fey' to describe your appearance. It makes me squeel with delight! )

Call me sometime tonight and we'll work on details.
Yes, that means you actually have to pick up a phone and *call* me.

Well.
Yes.
I suppose you're right about that. There's no way out of it, is there?
Just don't tell me I sound bored talking to you. I sound bored talking to everybody.
