Recently I was accepted into the joint-degree program here at UAkron so that I'll be working on both my juris doctorate and a Masters in Applied Politics.  What exactly does that entail?  Well here are some of the courses I'll be taking:

3700:502 Politics and the Media
3700:540 Survey Research Methods
3700:570 Campaign Management I

Just so you aren't confused you only have to take 27 credits: 540, 570, 575, 571, 572, 600, 601, 672, and 695: Internship.

Oh then you have to take one elective course and 655 which is a joint course Campaign and Election Law.

Gosh - as if you didn't have enough to do! Good luck with it all - and especially in landing the assistantship. Hope there is a moment here and there to bask in the joy of Pascha.

Yes, thankfully my Masters program doesn't start up till next semester. Basking has sort of been temporarily put on hold as I scramble now to finish my Brief, due at 10:30am tomorrow.
